Unwritten Chapters | Solo Exhibition
June 20, 2024 was a huge moment for me—my solo show, Unwritten Chapters, officially opened! To everyone who came out, thank you so much. Seriously, your presence made it more than just an art show—it became a celebration of connection, creativity, and shared stories.
Behind the Art of Unwritten Chapters
This collection means a lot to me. It’s not just a bunch of paintings; it’s a scrapbook of lessons, emotions, and inspirations I’ve picked up along the way. Every piece is rooted in something personal: a thought-provoking conversation, a book I couldn’t put down, a podcast that sparked an idea, or another artist’s work that left me in awe.
Being an artist is basically living life in observation mode. I’m always trying to make sense of the world and explore what it means to be human. Unwritten Chapters is my way of putting those thoughts into visuals—kind of like translating life into a language everyone can understand.
Of course, it’s not all smooth sailing. There are highs, lows, moments of inspiration, and days where I question everything. But at the end of the day, the joy of creating and sharing my work makes it all worth it.

A Night to Remember and the People Who Made It Shine
Let’s talk about the photos for a second. Shoutout to Alistair Sinclaire for capturing the magic of the night. His shots let me relive all the best moments — like a highlight reel, but for emotions (and maybe a few awkward laughs). Scroll down to the end of this blog post for a full photo gallery.
Looking back, I can’t help but think about all the people who’ve been part of this journey:
To my friends who have been with me since high school, when I first began painting, your encouragement has helped me take the leap into the world of art.
To my university peers who saw me loose my “training wheels,” your shared passion for art were invaluable.
And to the amazing collectors and art enthusiasts who have followed my progress, your support has been the cornerstone of my growth.
A huge thanks also goes to Backcountry Brewing and Frind Estate Winery for setting the perfect vibe for the evening (because good art and good drinks are a match made in heaven).
And to my creative crew — Miret Rodriguez of Curated Tastes, who did an introduction speech and facilitated the artist’s talk. Kirsten Larsen, Chris Nichols, Voirelia Dance Hub, Dwell Living, and Art Rapture — thank you for shouting about the show from the rooftops (or, you know, your Instagram stories).
Let’s Write More Chapters Together
What I hope most is that Unwritten Chapters connects with you. Maybe you see a piece of your own story in the artwork, or maybe it sparks a new way of looking at things. Either way, I’d love for these pieces to be the start of a conversation about growth, resilience, and all the wild twists and turns of life.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you came to the show, follow my work, or just enjoy these updates, your support means the world to me. Here’s to continuing the adventure together—one unwritten chapter at a time.
Cheers,
Olga
