Radiant Falls

This painting depicts the majestic Shannon Falls, a popular destination near Squamish, BC. It is one of the tallest waterfalls in the province and cascades powerfully through its lush surroundings. In this painting, I wanted to capture the dynamic movement of the water as it flows down the rugged face of the mountain, constantly shifting angles and patterns. The sunlight adds another dimension, illuminating parts of the falls in warm light while casting others into cool shadows. This interplay of light and motion creates a scene that feels both vibrant and serene.

For me, this piece highlights the beauty and power of British Columbia’s natural landscapes.
