This painting was created specifically for the International Artists Magazine Issue #131 February / March 2020. It was the subject of a demonstration article where I talked about my process technique.

The place depicted in this painting is Moolack Beach on the Oregon Coast, looking south at the Yaquina Head Lighthouse in the distance. In this piece I really enjoyed creating the different textures of the sand and rocks and playing with a more abstract approach.
