"Athabasca's Grace" captures the striking beauty of Athabasca Falls near Jasper, Alberta, a place I’ve returned to many times in my travels through the Rockies. This powerful waterfall, fed by the Athabasca River, has carved its way through ancient limestone over millennia, creating dramatic rock formations that make the area a fascinating place to explore.

In this painting, I wanted to convey the energy of the mist rising from the falls and the way light dances across the water’s surface. The deep blues, purples, and greens of the landscape reflect the richness and intensity of this iconic natural wonder. For me, this piece celebrates the enduring strength and captivating beauty of Athabasca Falls and the surrounding wilderness.
