Lake Louise: Summer Awakens

Lake Louise is such a breathtaking place, especially in summer when the landscape bursts to life. The shift from winter to summer reveals the vibrant greens of the trees, the rich glacial colour of the lake, and the warm tones of the rock faces, all uncovered from their snowy cloak.

This large-scale painting was a joyful challenge for me, as I worked to capture the essence of such an iconic scene. Finding the balance between the vastness of the setting and the details that make it so special was incredibly rewarding. I hope this painting brings a bit of that joy and wonder to anyone who sees it.
