Road to the Castle

This view of Castle Mountain is one of my favorites. As you drive along the Bow Valley Parkway, it seems to appear out of nowhere, a breathtaking surprise framed by the lush green forest on either side of the road.

On this particular day, the fog and clouds parted just enough to reveal the mountain. With its towering, layered peaks, it truly feels like you’re looking at a magnificent castle rising above the valley.
