"The Night's Embrace" is my take on the quiet beauty of Canmore at night. I wanted to explore the subtle lighting effects within the shadowed parts of the painting and contrast them with the punchy colors of the sky. I’ve been wanting to challenge myself with a scene like this for quite some time, and this view of Canmore presented the perfect opportunity. In this piece, I tried to capture the warm glow of the town’s lights against the deep, quiet shadows of the mountains. The vibrant sky above adds a sense of wonder, blending the calm of human life with the vastness of nature. It’s a moment of peace where the town and the wilderness come together in harmony.
