Pink skies, a full moon rising over the mountains and a beautifully windswept tree, this is the kind of scene that dreams are made of, at least for an artist. This scene is from Mt. Jimmy Jimmy in the Coastal Mountains of BC which are home to numerous hiking paths and camping sites among unspoiled wilderness. 

I really enjoyed the play between the shadowy foreground and the intense golden light in the background in this painting.
